How It Happened
WashU is the overall leader after round one play as they scored a 7-under par 281. Host Rhodes College stands in second place at 2-over par 290, while Maryville College (Tenn.) hit a 56-over par 344 for third.
Individually, Samantha Haubenstock (WashU), leads the field by two-strokes after hitting a 6-under par 66. Fontbonne, meanwhile, are currently being led by Grace Harlin after she scored a 19-over par 91.
Maddi Vandervort is four-strokes behind her at 32-over par 104, while Sarah Saddoris hit a 35-over par 107. Catherine Fowler turned in her scorecard at 38-over par 110.
