Women's Golf Finishes In Sixth At The Rhodes Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Fontbonne University women's golf team wrapped up its first weekend on the course at the Rhodes Classic and the Griffins finished in sixth place with a 782.

How It Happened

WashU took home the title after hitting a 2-under par 574 (281-293). Rhodes College, meanwhile, hit a program-record for a 36-hole course at 7-over par 583 (290-293).

Individually, WashU teammates Annie Mascot (71-68) and Samantha Haubenstock (66-73) tied for first 5-under par 139.

Maddi Vandervort improved from her first-round score by 11-strokes to conclude at 179 for 28^th place. Grace Harlin was right behind her in 30^th at 182, while Sarah Saddoris scored a 209 for 33^rd. Catherine Fowler followed in 34^th at 212.
