How It Happened
Monmouth College stands in first place with a team score of 33-over par 321. Host Illinois College is in second place at 46-over par 334, while Carl Sandburg Community College, and Knox College are in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Individually, Morgan Bemis (Monmouth) has a two-stroke lead after 18-holes as she hit her way to a 5-over par 77. Maddi Vandervort, meanwhile, scored a 10-over par 82 to lead Fontbonne and that currently places her in a tie for ninth place.
Grace Harlin is just outside the top-15 after totaling a 14-over par 86 for 16th place, while Sarah Saddoris turned in her scorecard at 36-over par 108. Allison Franken is right behind her at 37-over par 109.
