Women's Golf Closes Out Round One In Sixth At The SLIAC Championship

How It Happened
Newcomer to the conference, Grinnell College, leads the field with a 33-over par 321 which is a new team-low round. They're followed by four other newcomers in Illinois College (+45), Lake Forest College (+49), Monmouth College (+49), and Knox College (+72) to round out the top-five.
Individually, Nina Kouchi (Grinnell College), is alone in first place after scoring a 1-over par 73 and that sets a new SLIAC Championship low round. Maddi Vandervort turned in her scorecard at 13-over par 85 to finish in a tie for 15th.
Casey Linsenbardt is the next Griffin on the board in 24th place after hitting a 17-over par 89, while Grace Harlin hit her way to a 20-over par 92 for 26th.
Sarah Saddoris totaled a 24-over par 96 for 28th and Allison Franken is right behind her at 28-over par 100 for 32nd.
