Men's Wrestling Competes At The NCAA Lower Midwest Regional

How It Happened
At 125 pounds, Austin Cornell dropped his opener against Matt Randone (Loras) by technical fall. On the consolation bracket, he took on Byron Fleming but fell by technical fall.
At 133 pounds, Cody Castelline fell by fall at 4:54 against Tyler Difiore (Luther). In his next match, he squared off against Evan Husko (Cornell) and won with a 4-3 decision.
He carried that momentum over towards his next match against Dalton Landreth (Westminster) and came away with the sudden victory. He's set to square off against Shandon Akeo (Central) tomorrow.
David Vance competed at 141 pounds for Fontbonne and fell by fall (1:53 in his opening match. He met-up with Jonthan Thomas in the consolation bracket and dropped a tough contest falling by major decision.
At 174 pounds, Micah Dennis fell by fall (1:16) against Kyle Briggs (Wartburg). His next match was against Josh Bush but fell by fall in 1:33.
Joey Johnson competed at 285 pounds and dropped an 8-1 decision against Jordon Brandon (Wartburg). However, he followed that defeat with a 6-3 decision victory over Nick Mitchell. In his next contest though, he fell by fall against Kaleb Reeves (Coe).
