Griffins knock off alums for second straight year

For the second straight, the Fontbonne University women's soccer team defeated their elder mentors in the programs annual alumni game.

On Saturday, the 2012 Griffins defeated their alums 3-2 at Centene Stadium in Clayton, Missouri. The Griffins got goals from Kim Carter, Kelly Lange and Jenny Grawitch. Close to 20 alums showed up at this year's game to support the program.

Fontbonne opens its 2012 regular season on Saturday at Rhodes College at 10 am.
