Greenville, Ill. - Fontbonne women's soccer suffered their third conference loss Saturday, losing 2-0 to Greenville College.
Despite a 4-1 corner-kick advantage, the Griffins failed to score, falling to 1-3 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play while Greenville advanced to 3-1 in the standings. Fontbonne has been shut out in seven of their eight losses on the season.
Greenville scored one goal in each half. For Fontbonne, two players earned yellow cards in the second half.
The Griffins return home this week for an 8pm contest against Blackburn on Tuesday, October 13th and a 3pm game against Spalding on Saturday.
