Pulvirenti named SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week
Tayler Pulvirenti saved 10 shots on the week as the Griffins went 1-1 including eight against an undefeated Knox College team.

St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne University senior women's soccer goalkeeper Tayler Pulvirenti (Collinsville, Ill./Collinsville) is this week's SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Pulvirenti, was stellar last week for the Griffins as she made 10 combined saves as the team went 1-1 on the week. Pulvirenti made two stops in her team's 6-0 win over Stephens, playing 81-minutes in net before giving way.
Knox College averaged 4.8 goals per game before facing Pulvirenti and the Griffins. She saved seven before the game went into overtime, keeping Knox to their lowest scoring of the season. She made eight saves in the 1-0 loss to the undefeated Prairie Fire.
On the week Pulvirenti finished with a .909 save percentage.
