Kovarik, a Festus, Mo., native, had a standout 2018 campaign for the Griffins. The forward compiled a team-high 16 goals and that ranks her second all-time for a single season. She also concluded with 36 points that placed her sixth overall.
She went on to earn SLIAC All-Conference First Team honors. Kovarik is the fourth Griffin all-time to earn NSCAA All-Central Region as she joins Kelly Hobbs (2014), Paige Pfankuch (2014), and Natalie Sipole (2016).
