How It Happened
Fontbonne Women's Soccer kept up a good defense during the first half to keep the score 0-0. Including two saves on frame from Senior GK Makayla Hussong. In the 46th minute, Freshman Callie Haertle scored the lone goal for the Tommies winning the game.
Fontbonne Leaders
- Senior Makayla Hussong covered the net all 90 minutes and saved two shots on frame while allowing one goal.
- Junior Claire Dalton got past the Tommies defense to get a shot.
St. Thomas Leaders
- Junior Kate Heimer lead the team in shots with a total of three out of nine combined team shots.
- Followed behind her was Haertle with two shots including her winning goal.
