How It Happened
The Griffins pulled ahead early when junior Molly Kovarik scored a goal at the 8th minute assisted by Caroline Neal. The Griffins had 15 shots with ten on frame throughout the night, but the Panthers scored at the 43rd and 69th minute to go on for the win. In net Senior Makayla Hussong played all 90 minutes saving one goal. On the other side of the field Greenville's GK Marjory Coates saved nine shots while allowing one goal.
