Fontbonne Notables
- The Griffins are coming off an 11-1 (9-0 SLIAC) 2020-21 season where they advanced to the SLIAC Championship.
- The team had 10 players earn All-Conference, including a program and SLIAC record six make First Team.
- This year, all 10 All-Conference players are back and the Griffins were picked to finish first in the SLIAC Preseason Poll.
- Offensively, the Griffins scored 45 goals a season ago led by the reigning SLIAC Player of the Year, Molly Kovarik.
- The Festus, Mo., native, tallied 10 goals giving her 36 in her career. She needs 13 more to become the all-time leader at Fontbonne.
- Krystal Kohenskey also returns after totaling seven goals and tying for first in the nation with 13 assists.
- Caitlyn Smith finished with six goals, while Caroline Neal and Kierstyn Weaver finished with five each.
- In net, the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year, Mary Beers, returns after setting a single season record with a .26 goals against average in 2020-21.
- Six newcomers in Rachel Harris, Jordan Owens, Elizabeth Modrusic, Katie Leeker, Alyson Carroll, and Mia Biermann look to make an impact this year.
