Women's Soccer Wins Third Straight SLIAC Regular Season Title
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women’s soccer team had another memorable evening securing its 11th straight shutout win, Mary Beers became the SLIAC All-Time leader with 45 wins, and the Griffins won its third straight SLIAC Regular Season Title.

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's soccer team had another memorable evening securing its 11th straight shutout win, Mary Beers became the SLIAC All-Time leader with 45 wins, and the Griffins won its third straight SLIAC Regular Season Title.
Fontbonne dominated from start-to-finish against the Blackburn Beavers having a 51-0 shot advantage. The Griffins got goals from Krystal Kohenskey, Cassidy Head, Katie Leeker, Caitlyn Smith, Grace Bray and Alyson Carroll (two).
In net, Beers sits atop the SLIAC record book all alone with 45 wins surpassing Jessica Davis (Webster) who held the record since 2014.
The SLIAC Tournament will run through Fontbonne with the Griffins having the top spot for the third straight time and fourth in program history. It's been a dominating 2022 season thus far against conference foes with Fontbonne having a 38-0 goal advantage.
