Biermann's Goal Lifts Fontbonne To Third Straight Unbeaten SLIAC Regular Season
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women’s soccer team closed out the regular season with a 1-0 win over Westminster. It’s the 14th conference win for the Griffins tying a SLIAC record and it marks the third straight unbeaten conference season.

Prior to the game, the Griffins honored its seniors Mary Beers, Krystal Kohenskey, Mia Patterson, Haley Buscher, Grace Trendle, and Caroline Neal.
Fontbonne held an 8-3 shot advantage in the first half, but Megan Davidson kept the Griffins off the board making five saves.
In the second half, the Griffins broke the tie when Krystal Kohenskey crossed the ball over from the right side over to a wide open Mia Biermann who beat Davidson in the 72nd minute. That was all the scoring needed for the Griffins as they went on for the 1-0 win.
