Women's Tennis shuts out Blackburn

Carlinville, Ill. - Fontbonne University women's tennis shut out Blackburn College Thursday night 9-0 in what is believed to be their first conference shutout in the history of the program. The Griffins are now 2-1 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play and travel to face a tough Westminster squad on Sunday.
The win for Jordan Sampson is her first official singles win of her career. It's the first conference singles win of the season for Mediha Husejnovic who won at singles against Blackburn this spring in non-conference play.
