In doubles action, the duo of Mariana Rogers and Bailey Benes picked up the first point with an 8-0 win at No. 1. However, the Beavers escaped with an 8-6 and 8-5 victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to hold a 2-1 advantage.
In singles play, though the Griffins took over. Mariana Rogers, Bailey Benes, Jordan Sampson, Morgan Murphy and Becky Kottmeyer all picked up wins to secure the three-point victory.
