St. Louis, Mo. - The Griffins suffered their sixth loss of the season last night and second of the season against the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in four sets: 21-25, 25-22, 15-25, 14-25.
Kersten McDonough tallied 20 kills, the game-high and her highest of the season, finishing with a .366 hitting percentage. Krista Beyer ended with a team-high 16 digs with libero Maddie Stadler adding 15 for the Griffins. Lynsey Wehrenberg and Mandy DeWitt accumulated 15 and 12 assists respectively. Carissa Dodge ended with four block assists.
For the Eutectics, Kate Toler finished with 18 digs and Alyssa Hitpas tallied 14 kills.
The Griffins open conference play this weekend at Blackburn, taking on Iowa Wesleyan (noon) and Eureka (2pm) on Saturday, September 13.
