Kristina Eason continued her strong play with 15 kills and a season-high .467 hitting percentage. Megan Schaller and Abby Grumich combined for 27 of the teams 31 assists, while Claire Sease also finished with 17 digs.

Alex Falcone handed out 35 assists and Allyson Grabowski stood out on the defensive side of the net with a match-high 28 digs.
In the first set, the Griffins trailed 12-7 on a Panthers service error. Greenville was able to expand on that lead out to 18-8 on a kill from Abby Freeman and that was more than enough for them to go on for the 25-17 win.
In the second set, Fontbonne responded with a 12-8 lead on a Panthers attack error. Later in the set, Greenville narrowed it down to 20-19 on a kill from Mitchell, however, a service error on the ensuing possession gave FBU a 21-19 lead.
Despite Greenville hanging around the Griffins were able to fend off the Panthers, capped off by Megan McKenzie's kill to give them the 25-22 set win.
In the third, it was the Panthers this time around answering with an 11-4 advantage out of the gate. It was all Greenville the rest of the way as they went on for the 25-11 win, taking a two sets to one lead.
In the fourth, after trailing early, Fontbonne stayed within striking distance at 11-8 on a kill from Grumich. However, a quick 5-0 run gave the home team a 16-8 lead on a kill from Anna Finch and that forced FBU to take a timeout.
Out of the break, Greenville was able to fend off the Griffins the rest of the way, winning the set and the match, 25-17.
FBU will look to bounce back in a non-conference outing against Harris-Stowe next Tuesday night. First-serve goes up at 7 p.m.
