Eason Named To The SLIAC Third Team; Curtice Earns All-Sportsmanship Honors
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Teams tonight and the Griffins saw two of its own take home some hardware.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the Women's Volleyball All-Conference Teams tonight and the Griffins saw two of its own take home some hardware.
Kristina Eason, a St. Louis, Missouri, native, was named to the Third Team after her standout season on the court. The junior had herself a career season, setting new career-high marks in kills (284), kills per set (2.56), total attacks (884), hitting percentage (.209) and digs (341).
She's well on her way to 1,000 career kills and digs as she currently stands with 806 and 718 digs respectively.
Victoria Curtice, meanwhile, was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. On the court, Curtice finished fourth on the team with 167 kills, a 1.74 hitting percentage and a team-high 75 blocks.
