Women's Volleyball at Eureka Preview
EUREKA, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women’s volleyball team returns to action this weekend at Eureka. On Friday night, the team takes on host Eureka at 7 p.m. On Saturday, they’ll square off against Greenville at 11 a.m., and finish out the day against Blackburn at 1 p.m.

A Look At The Griffins
- Fontbonne is coming off a tough three-set loss in its conference home opener against Westminster on Wednesday night.
- The team did set season-high marks in kills (34) and assists (29).
- Rae Andrews recorded her first collegiate double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs.
- On the year, the Griffins are averaging 7.43 kills per set and a .029 hitting percentage.
- Maura Rabun leads with a team-high 55 kills and .126 hitting percentage.
- Emma Seiz totaled 34 kills and a team-high 12 blocks thus far. Andrews, Olivia Tallo, and Taylor Jackson are all tied with 27 kills.
- Setter Jill Reando averages 4.65 assists per set.
- Defensively, Megan Schaller is up to a team-high 118 digs (3.93 digs per set).
A Look At The Eureka Red Devils
- The Red Devils have dropped its five matches as they're coming off a four-set loss against Principia in its last time out. In that contest, they did come away with a season-high 104 digs.
- On the year, they've totaled 8.82 kills per set and a .103 hitting percentage.
- Caitlin Miller leads with a team-high 70 kills and a .155 hitting percentage.
- Annaliese Miller and Ariel Campbell have contributed 66 and 61 digs, respectively.
- Setter Sara Worrell averages 6.71 assists per set and leads them on the defensive side of the net with 133 digs.
- As a team, the Red Devils average 17.56 digs per set which places them fourth overall in the SLIAC.
A Look At The Greenville Panthers
- The Panthers have won five out of its last six, including a four-set win over Webster on Wednesday night.
- On the season, the Panthers average 11.87 kills per set and a .176 hitting percentage, which ranks them second in the SLIAC.
- The team also ranks first in the SLIAC in total blocks (74).
- Jasmine Smith leads them offensively with 119 kills and a .199 hitting percentage.
- Coming off a 21-kill performance against the Gorloks, Abby Freeman upped her season total to 111 kills and a team-high .266 hitting percentage.
- Setter Kaitlin Murray averages 7.17 assists per set. Defensively, Chasity Hill leads the group with 140 digs.
A Look At The Blackburn Beavers
- After picking up a five-set win over Principia on September 21st, the Beavers have dropped its next two contests against Webster in straight sets and most recently MacMurray in four.
- On the season, they're averaging 9.85 kills per set and a .128 hitting percentage.
- Lucy Magnussen leads with 108 kills, a .288 hitting percentage, and 24 blocks.
- Setter Kendall Burleyson averages 5.88 assists per set and freshman Amanda Swedberg owns a team-high 149 digs.
