A Look At The Griffins
- Fontbonne picked up its first win on the year after earning a sweep over Eureka this past Friday. The team followed it up with a three-set loss against Greenville and a tough five-set defeat against Blackburn on Saturday.
- The Griffins set season-high marks in kills (50), assists (45), and digs (70) against the Beavers.
- On the year, the Griffins are averaging 8.10 kills per set and a .065 hitting percentage.
- Maura Rabun leads the offense with 86 kills and a .194 hitting percentage.
- Rae Andrews has recorded three double-doubles in the last four games and upped her kill total to 59 on the season. Emma Seiz, meanwhile, totaled 47 kills thus far and a team-high 18 blocks.
- Setter Jill Reando averages 4.93 assists per set.
- Libero Megan Schaller recorded a career-high 36 digs against Blackburn which pushed her season total to a team-high 183.
A Look At The Spalding Golden Eagles
- The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-2 showing at MacMurray this past weekend. The team fell in five-sets against Iowa Wesleyan and were swept by Westminster, though they closed out the quad with a four-set victory over host MacMurray.
- On the season, the Golden Eagles rank sixth in the conference with 10.18 kills per set.
- Individually, freshman Savannah Kruse owns a team-high 134 kills and a .152 hitting percentage.
- Cassie Jones and Samantha Robinson have totaled 117 and 110 kills, respectively.
- Setter Mya Summers averages 8.31 assists per set.
- Defensively, the Golden Eagles rank fourth in the SLIAC with 17.37 digs per set. Sarah Richards leads the group with 216.
