Set Notes
Set 1: In the first set, the Griffins opened with a 10-4 lead on a kill from Jadyn Fitzgerald. The Hornets cut the deficit to 15-11, but Fontbonne finished the set off on a 10-3 run for the 25-14 win.
Set 2: Fontbonne once again started out fast putting the Hornets in a 15-8 hole on Hannah Gallagher's kill. The Griffins continued its dominance the rest of the way cruising to the 25-11 victory.
Set 3: The Hornets this time around took a 7-2 lead, but Fontbonne battled back tying it up at 15-15. Later, the Griffins had match point leading 24-22, however, they were unable to put away HSSU with the Hornets closing out on a 5-1 run securing the 27-25 victory.
Set 4: The Griffins bounced back in the fourth taking a 10-4 lead on consecutive kills from Ella Werner-Click and Gallagher. Fontbonne never let the Hornets back into the match winning, 25-15.

- Fontbonne finished with 36 kills and a season-high .276 hitting percentage.
- At the net, the Griffins totaled a season-high seven solo blocks.
