Set Notes
Set 1: It was back-and-forth action throughout the first, but the Griffins eventually took an 18-15 lead on Hannah Gallagher's kill. They never relinquished its lead the rest of the way going on for the 25-21 win.
Set 2: The Blue Jays grabbed a 16-12 lead in the second, but a 5-0 run by Fontbonne gave them the 17-16 advantage. The two teams went point-for-point, however, the Griffins eventually went on for the 26-24 victory.
Set 3: Fontbonne trailed 17-13 in the third, but didn't give way tying it up at 17-17 on a double block by Ella Werner-Click and Jordan Harpel. From there, the Griffins went on for the 25-22 set and match win on Kristen Kaempfe's kill.
Team Notes
- The Griffins finished with 46 kills which is a season-high in a three set match thus far.
- Fontbonne had a .273 hitting percentage and a season-low 16 errors.
- Defensively, the Griffins totaled 54 digs.
- At the net, the team totaled 14 block assists and seven digs.
