Coach Stika enters his third season at the helm of the women's volleyball team. He's in his third season as the head coach of the men's volleyball program.

In the fall of 2022, Coach Stika led the Griffins to a SLIAC Tournament Championship for the first time since 2005. They advanced to the NCAA Tournament taking on No. 1 ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps where they fell in straight sets.

In his first season, the Griffins went 15-11 overall making it the first time since 2005 the program had an above .500 record. The 10 conference wins are the most since the 2015 season.

In 2022, Coach Stika led the men’s volleyball program to its second straight MCVL Regular Season Championship after going 20-7 overall and a perfect 8-0 in MCVL play. Coach Stika was named MCVL Co-Coach of the Year for the first time in his career and earned the AVCA "30 under 30" award.

In Stika's first season in charge of the program (2021) he led the team to a 19-3 record, an MCVL Tournament championship, an NCAA Tournament appearance, and the program's first regular-season MCVL Championship. The Griffins finished the season ranked #12 in the AVCA National rankings, tied for the highest finish in the national polls in program history.

Stika was no stranger to Fontbonne prior to his head coaching role, as he was on the sideline as an assistant coach for three seasons from 2017-2020. During that time, he helped lead the Griffins to multiple firsts in program history, including the 2019 MCVL Championship, an appearance in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, appearances in the AVCA National Rankings, and a school-record 26-win season in 2019.

He's also led the development of multiple MCVL All-Conference performers, a two-time MCVL Defensive Player of the Year, two MCVL Tournament Most Valuable Players, an MCVL Newcomer of the Year, and the program's first All-American in Ryan Lively in 2021.

Outside of Fontbonne, Stika spent a season on the coaching staff of the women's volleyball program at Saint Louis University where he helped the Billikens reach the A-10 Tournament Semifinals in 2019.

He's also spent a number of years coaching at the club and high school levels in the St. Louis Area, including spending time with High Performance STL and Missouri Thunder Volleyball Club, while having been an assistant coach for the 2016 Affton High School State Championship Team.

As a four-year starter at libero for Fontbonne, Stika ranked in the top 25 nationally in digs per set each season and currently sits at fourth in school history for career digs. He was named to the 2014 CVC West All-Conference Team, along with multiple Fontbonne Dean's Lists and CVC/MCVL All-Academic Teams between 2013-16.

A St. Louis native and Affton High School graduate, Stika currently resides in Webster Groves, Missouri.
