Bio

From 2000-13, Coach Hoener was the men's soccer head coach and he amassed an all-time program reord 155 wins. He was named SLIAC Coach of the Year four times and led the Griffins to 11 SLIAC Tournament appearances. He led them to two SLIAC Tournament Championships (2004, 2006) and four SLIAC Conference Titles (2003, 2004, 2008, 2013). 

The Griffins appeared at the NCAA Tournament three times under Hoener (2003, 2004, 2006) and he had 29 players named to the SLIAC All-Conference Team. 

In 2011, Coach Hoener was named the head coach of the women's team and from 2011-18 he totaled 96 wins, eight SLIAC Tournament appearances, three SLIAC Coach of the Year awards (2012, 2014, 2016), and totaled 33 players to the SLIAC All-Conference Team.

He was also named SLIAC All-Decade Team Coach.
