Bio

Reichel was a two-year standout (2003-2004) at Fontbonne in the softball program. She earned SLIAC First-Team All-Conference honors both years. During her junior season, Reichel went 19-8 with a 1.38 earned run average with a 177 stikeouts (2nd most strikeouts in a single season in school history). Reichel also hit .413 from the plate with 45 hits, 22 runs and 30 RBI’s. She led her team in wins, hits, RBI’s and batting average that season. Fontbonne was 23-14 that season with a 10-2 SLIAC record. Fontbonne finished 1st in the conference and appeared in the NCAA Tournament. Reichel was named the SLIAC Player of the Year her junior year.

During her senior year, Holly led her team again in pitching with a 14-4 record and 1.12 earned run average. She finished 52 in the country that year in earned run average.  Fontbonne finished 27-13 that season and 8-4 in the SLIAC. The Griffins finished in second place in the SLIAC.
