Bio

Luke was a centerfielder on the Griffins baseball team for four years.  He was the SLIAC Player of the Year his junior year and was named to the First-Team All-Conference his junior and senior year. His sophomore year, Luke was named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference Team.

During his freshmen year, Luke hit .310 with 27 hits, 17 runs scored, 13 RBI’s and six doubles. His team finished 17-21 with a 11-10 SLIAC record. In his sophomore year, Luke hit .356 with a team-leading 47 hits, 25 runs scored, 26 RBI’s, and eight doubles.

In his junior season, Luke hit a school-record .488 with a team-leading 60 hits. He scored a 38 runs (2nd on the team) and led the team in RBI’s with 51. Luke had 10 doubles that season which also led the team. His team finished with a 25-11 record and a 17-3 SLIAC (1st Place). Luke performance helped led Fontbonne to an NCAA Tournament appearance. In his senior season, Luke hit .378 with a team-leading 54 hits. Luke led his team with 44 RBI’s and 16 doubles. He scored 27 runs that season.

 For his career, Luke is a .387 hitter with 188 hits, 107 runs scored, 134 RBI’s and 41 doubles. He holds the school record for career RBI’s and career doubles.
