Bio

As a student at Fontbonne, Rosemarie participated in all sports and served as president of the Fonthonne Athletic Association. She received her degree in physical education and went on to be awarded her master's and doctorate in physical education from the State University of Iowa at Iowa City.

Rosemarie joined the faculty at Fontbonne in the fall of 1955 and subsequently became chair of the Physical Education Department. She joined the faculty at SIU Edwardsville in 1961 and retired June 30, 1993. She had served as dean of the SIUE Graduate School since 1988. She was also professor of Health, Recreation and Physical Education and was named to emerita status at the time of her retirement.
