Bio

Shane Tatum is a 1998 graduate of Fontbonne University. He graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration. Shane played outfield on Fontbonne's baseball team for two years, during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

In 1997, Shane was selected to the St.Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference. During that year, Shane hit .355 with 43 hits, 37 runs scored, five home runs
and 34 RBI's. During the 1998 season, Shane hit .373 with 53 hits, 62 runs scored, 11 home runs and 52 RBI's. He finished second in the conference in home runs and third in RBI's that year. His 62 runs scored in 1998 set a school record for most runs scored in a year.

Shane was an integral part of the team's success during that 1998 season. The Fontbonne baseball team finished 41-7, won the SLIAC, and appeared in the NCAA Tournament. That team's 41 wins is the school record for most wins in a season.
