Forest Park (Cross Country/Golf)
St. Louis' Forest Park , first dedicated at a large public ceremony in 1876 plays hosts to over 10 million visitors a year. It is also home to Fontbonne’s Cross Country and Golf teams. Located a mile from Fontbonne, the park is one of the largest urban parks in the country, more than 1.5 times bigger than New York’s Central Park.

Cross Country
The running and walking paths are great for running allowing many variations. Forest Park is also a hotspot for local road races, high school and college cross country races and many other activities. In 2004 the U.S. Women’s Olympic Marathon Trials were hosted in Forest Park and hosted the 2012 and 2013 USA Cross Country Championships.
Golf Course
Fontbonne's men's and women's golf programs practice at the Highland Golf Course in Forest Park. It is equipped with a driving range, putting greens, a chipping area as well as a 9 hole executive course. For competition, the Griffins use all 27 holes at The Norman K.
