Dominic Johnson Announced as Next Cheer and Stunt Head Coach
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Fontbonne University Athletic Department named Dominic Johnson as the new Cheer and Stunt Head Coach, announced Director of Athletics Danielle Doerfler.

He comes to Fontbonne after being a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Missouri Baptist University since August of 2022.
"I am thrilled to be a part of Fontbonne's spirit program," stated Johnson. "I am ready to put in some work this year on and off the mat. The team did some great things last year and I want to keep adding to that. I truly fell in love with Fontbonne the second I stepped foot on campus."

During his time at MBU, he produced athletic publications including promotional programs, game summaries, and recruit guides. He analyzed statistics, created graphic materials, and wrote post-game publications. He coordinated and directed media days, banquets, and game days. In addition, he managed public relations campaigns on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Flickr).
Prior to MBU, Johnson served as the head coach and marketing assistant at Flipside Too.
At Flipside Too, he was the head of the practice curriculum and planning for the Allstar cheer programs competitions. He created choreography for professional routines in-house and for neighboring high school programs. He managed clothing, uniform, and product orders for athletes.
He started his coaching career when he was 16 years old at the All-Star in his hometown, Festus, Mo.
He is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University, where he got his undergraduate degree in Marketing while he was a member of the cheer team. He is currently working on his Master of Business Administration at MBU.
Johnson's start date will be May 15.
