Dance, Cheer, And Gideon The Griffin Compete At The College Classic National Invitational
ORLANDO, Fla.—The Fontbonne University dance and cheer teams competed this past weekend at the College Classic National Invitational.
ORLANDO, Fla.—The Fontbonne University dance and cheer teams competed this past weekend at the College Classic National Invitational.
In hip hop, the dance team finished in second place with a score of 81.2. Maryland Heights Performing Arts Center won with a score of 83.6. Illinois College ended in third at 80.12, while WashU closed out in fourth at 77.84.
In team performance, the Griffins ended in fourth at 81.3. Alma College took home the win finishing with a score of 89.78. Catholic University ended in second (83.58), while Illinois College (81.6) edged out Fontbonne for third.
The Fontbonne cheer team competed for the first time at Nationals in program history and finished in sixth place with St. Ambrose coming away victorious with a score of 94.8. History was also made with Gideon the Griffins finishing in fourth at 85.33.
