ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The No. 1 seed Fontbonne University men’s basketball team kicked off the SLIAC Quarterfinals with a dominating 133-100 win over No. 8 Greenville. Anthony Jones also became just the 15th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

Game Breakdown
After Greenville grabbed an early lead, the Griffins battled back and eventually took a 32-22 advantage on Drew Cromer's 3-pointer at the 10:10 mark.
Over the next six minutes, the Griffins stretched its lead out to 48-33 after Anthony Jones slammed it home on an assist from Caden Clark. Fontbonne held that double-digit lead the rest of the way heading into the locker room on top, 66-50.
The Griffins shot 64.3 percent from the field with Kevin Anders (12), Jones (12), and Will Suellentrop (10) already in double-figures.
It was all Fontbonne in the second half with the team taking an 85-62 lead at the 15:46 mark on Domonic Doolin's layup.
The Griffins continued to pile it on taking an 100-68 lead with 10:37 left on Kevin Anders layup. With Fontbonne shooting an astounding 58.3 percent from the field they cruised to the 33-point win.
