ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The first seeded Fontbonne University men's basketball team defeated fourth seeded Webster University tonight 69-60 to advance to the SLIAC Championship game. The Griffins improve to 19-7 overall.
By the Numbers
21 – Brent Wagner led the floor going 7-for-10 from the field, 4-for-6 from deep, and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. He also had five rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
13 – Cheikh Thiam scored 13 points, going 6-for-14 from the field and 1-for-2 from the free-throw line. He pulled down seven boards and had one assist.
10 – Elijah Rice pulled down 10 boards with three coming from the offensive end. He also scored eight points and dished in six assists.
