Golf Concludes Regular Season
The Fontbonne University men’s golf team competed this week at the MBU Invitational in Wood River, Illinois and at the Take Back the Night Challenge in Decatur, Illinois.
The Fontbonne University men's golf team competed this week at the MBU Invitational in Wood River, Illinois and at the Take Back the Night Challenge in Decatur, Illinois.
Fontbonne finished in 12th place in the MBU Invitational with a total of 678.
Fontbonne placed 15th in the Take Back the Night Challenge. The team shot 635 after two rounds.
MBU Invitational:
Cody McKinney and JP Ruble finished in a four-way tie at 47th. McKinney shot 78 and 89 with a total of 167. Ruble shot 85 and 82 with a total of 167.
Adam Cash finished in a five-way tie at 51st. He shot 84 in both rounds with a 168 total.
Cole Deppe finished in a four-way tie in 56th. He shot 90 and 79 with a 169 total.
Take Back the Night Challenge:
Leading the Griffins, Cody McKinney finished in a three-way tie at 25th. He shot 72 in the first round and 77 in the second round, concluding the tournament with a total of 149.
Cole Deppe finished in an eight-way tie in the 68th spot. He shot 81 in the first round and 78 in the second with a 159 total.
Lake Deppe finished in a five-way tie in 81st place. He shot 89 and 73 for a 162 total.
Alex Kueker placed 90th. In the first round, he shot 83 and in the second round, he shot 82. He finished the tournament with 165.
Competing as an individual, Jackson Morrissey, finished in 102nd place. He shot 92 in the first day and 86 in the second day, with a 178 total.
Adam Cash finished in a two-way tie in 103rd. He shot 89 and 95 totaling 184.
