Match One
Marian 3, Fontbonne 1 (26-24, 24-26, 25-19, 25-19)
Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins were rolling in the first having a 17-10 lead on Logan Irby's kill. Marian battled back outscoring Fontbonne 12-5 to tie it up.
The two teams went point-for-point until the Sabres closed it out on Isaac Dreifuerst's kill for the win.
Fontbonne totaled 12 kills and a .129 hitting percentage in the first. Irby led with four kills, while Ryan Lively and Nate Paasch added three each.
Set 2: The script flipped in the second set with the Sabres having the 22-13 advantage. Fontbonne took over going on a 10-1 run to meet up with the Sabres on consecutive service aces from Kyle Snook.
After Marian took a 24-23 lead, the Griffins got kills from Joseph Huster and Cameron Graves, topped off by a block assist from the duo for the 26-24 comeback victory.
The Griffins played its best set of the match with 12 kills and a .318 hitting percentage. Lively, Paasch, and Graves all had three kills.
Set 3: In the third, the Sabres jumped out to a 16-7 lead forcing Fontbonne to take a timeout. The comeback was not to be in this one with Marian going on for the 25-19 victory.
The Griffins totaled eight kills and a .083 hitting percentage in the third. Irby, Lively, Huster, and Graves contributed two kills each.
Set 4: The Sabres put the Griffins in a 17-11 hole forcing Fontbonne to take another timeout. The Griffins went on a 4-0 run capped off by Paasch's kill making it a 17-15 contest.
However, the Sabres fended off Fontbonne the rest of the way going on for the 25-19 set and match win.

Set Notes
Set 1: The two teams met-up at 10-10 until the Duhawks started to pull away taking a 17-12 advantage on Dorian Fiorenza's service ace. Loras went on from there for the 25-16 win
Fontbonne compiled nine kills and a .182 hitting percentage with Lively having four kills.
Set 2: The Duhawks held its lead throughout the second taking a 14-7 lead and never looking back going on for the 25-17 victory.
Fontbonne improved offensively in the second with 10 kills and a .240 hitting percentage. Loras, meanwhile, totaled 13 kills and a .344 hitting percentage.
Set 3: In the third, the Duhawks remained ahead 20-11 on Patrick Mahoney's kill. Fontbonne tried a late rally getting the deficit down to 24-20 on Tengis Kelley's service ace, but the Duhawks got the final point on Fiorenza's kill for the win.
