Men's Volleyball Collects Comeback Win Over MSOE

Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins opened with a 0-4 lead in the first on a double block from Ryan Lively and Logan Irby.
Later, the Raiders trimmed the 17-12 deficit down to 17-14 after a kill from Ted Simpson. After a Fontbonne timeout, the Griffins closed out on a 8-5 run for the 25-19 victory.
The Griffins had 12 kills and a .360 hitting percentage in the first. Cameron Graves led with five kills and a .714 hitting percentage.
Set 2: In the second, the two teams went point-for-point but the Raiders started to pull away leading 22-19. MSOE fended off Fontbonne the rest of the way securing the 25-21 victory.
Fontbonne had nine kills and a .115 hitting percentage in the second, while the Raiders totaled 12 kills and a .286 hitting percentage.
Set 3: In the third, the back-and-forth action continued but the Raiders led 24-21 on a kill from Simpson. However, the Griffins went on a 3-0 run to tie things up.
After a service error made it 27-27, the Raiders got a kill from John Wolf and a Fontbonne attack error gave them the 29-27 win.
Set 4: The Griffins came out with a sense of urgency in the fourth taking a 13-9 lead. From there, the Griffins expanded it out to 20-13 and never looked back going on for the 25-20 win.
After having a .026 hitting percentage in the third, the Griffins bounced back with a .296 hitting percentage in the fourth.
Set 5: After being tied 6-6 in the fifth, the Griffins stretched its lead out to 11-8 on Cameron Graves' kill. Fontbonne finished the set and the match off on a kill from Huster for the 15-12 win.

- Fontbonne tied its season-high with 13 blocks.
- MSOE ended with 56 kills and a .199 hitting percentage.
