Eight Griffins Named To The MSFL All-Conference Team
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL) released its All-Conference selections today and the Griffins had eight selectees.

Chris Reckel earned First Team on offense as a utility player. Defensive lineman Isaiah Sanders was named to the First Team and was joined by linebacker Avion Bass.
Wide receivers Jaylen Politte and Reshad Singleton earned Second Team honors. Defensive backs Xavier Reddock, Jeremiah Dorsey and linebacker Clayton Arrowood were named to the Second Team on the defensive side of the ball.
Singleton also was named to the Second Team on Special Teams as a punt returner / kick returner. Dylan Scruggs and Arrowood were named Captains of Character.
Reckel, an O'Fallon, Mo., native, was named to the First Team after tossing a team-high 590 yards and three touchdowns at quarterback. He also had 17 punts for a team-high 644 yards averaging 37.9 yards per punt.
Sanders, a Cahokia, Ill., native, posted 55 tackles on the season, but led the Griffins with 18 tackles for loss totaling 76 yards and seven sacks for 49 yards.
Bass, a St. Louis, Mo., native, finished with a team-high 74 tackles, to go along with his eight tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Politte, a St. Louis, Mo., native, finished third on the Griffins with 17 catches, but was second totaling 231 yards and tied Singleton with two scores.
Singleton, a St. Louis, Mo., native, led the Griffins with 26 catches for 277 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged a team-high 46.2 yards per game. Singleton also totaled six kick returns for 162 yards averaging 25.3 yards per return.
Reddock, a Luverne, Ala., native, finished with 10 tackles and led Fontbonne with a team-high five interceptions for 39 yards.
Dorsey, a Spanish Lake, Mo., native, finished fourth on the team with 38 tackles and added one interception for 15 yards.
Arrowood, a St. Peters, Mo., native, ended the year second on the team with 56 tackles and four tackles for loss totaling 31 yards.
Scruggs, a St. Charles, Mo., native, finished with 196 yards at the quarterback position and tossed two touchdowns.
