Game Breakdown
In the first quarter, the Griffins opened with a 14-8 lead on Kourtney White's layup at 5:20. The Warriors answered with a 6-0 run, but Fontbonne regained the lead at 2:20 on Rylee Pickett's 3-pointer. The Griffins held its lead the rest of the way leading 20-19 after one.
Fontbonne shot 5-of-11 (45.5 percent) from the floor in the first and went 8-of-9 from the free throw line. Pickett was off to a fast start with eight points on 2-of-2 shooting from the field.
In the second quarter, the Warriors had a marginal 26-23 lead with 3:56 remaining on Kennedi Burns' jumper. The two teams met-up at 28-28 with 1:28 on the clock, however, the Griffins closed out the quarter on a 6-0 run capped off by Kourtney White going coast-to-coast for the 34-28 lead at the break.
It was all Fontbonne in the third opening with a 14-0 run in just over five minutes time with White's layup giving them a 48-28 lead. They expanded it out to 57-33 with 1:54 left and went into the fourth on top, 57-38.
The Griffins shot an impressive 8-of-12 (66.7 percent) from the field, including going 4-of-5 from downtown. Pickett led with eight points, while Rylee Stafford and White had seven each. The Warriors, meanwhile, committed six turnovers and connected on just four of its 16 shots.
It was more of the same story in the fourth with Fontbonne outscoring Hendrix 28-13 and shooting 60.0 percent from the floor en route to the 34-point win.

- Kourtney White also couldn't miss going 7-of-7 finishing with 16 points and six boards.

- Sam Foppe contributed six points, while Jillian Venegas and Haley Buscher ended with five points each.
