Stafford Sits Atop SLIAC Record Books In Career 3-Point Field Goals Made After Rout Against Greenville

Rylee Stafford also made history once again becoming the all-time leader in the SLIAC with 244 3-point field goals made in her illustrious career.

Game Breakdown
The Griffins started fast with a 10-2 lead at the 7:08 mark of the first. The Panthers trimmed the deficit to 16-11 on Jovanna Olivia's 3-pointer with 3:56 remaining. However, the Griffins finished out the quarter on an 8-3 run leading 24-14.
Fontbonne went 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) from the floor in the first led by Kourtney White who scored 10 points in five minutes.
After Greenville made it a 26-16 game with 8:42 left in the second, the Griffins dominated the next seven minutes rattling off a 13-0 run capped off by Jillian Venegas' layup giving Fontbonne a commanding 39-16 lead.
With the team shooting 43.8 percent from the floor in the second and holding the Panthers to just two made shots it was Fontbonne having a 42-20 lead at the break.
It was more of the same story in the third with Kourtney White's 3-pointer extending the Griffins lead out to 60-25 with just over five and half minutes left.
The Griffins outscored Greenville 34-13 in the third and it was capped off by Stafford's 3-pointer putting Fontbonne ahead, 76-33.
Fontbonne stayed hot from the floor going 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) from the field and 5-of-10 (50.0 percent) from downtown.
In the fourth, the Griffins maintained its 30-plus point lead and Stafford made history at the 6:10 mark connecting on her 244th career 3-pointer. It was all Fontbonne the rest of the way cruising to the 42-point win.

- The Griffins shot 51.5 percent from the floor and tied its season high with 13 3-pointers made.
- On the glass, the Griffins pulled down a season-high 49 boards.
- Fontbonne also set a season-high with 25 assists.
- The Panthers ended up shooting 25.8 percent from the floor.

- Stafford surpasses Leigh Ann Lutz (Westminster) in the SLIAC record book who held it since 2014.
- Stafford finished with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
- Kourtney White had a strong game recording her second triple-double on the year with a career-high 27 points on 12-of-15 shooting. She added 12 boards and tied her career-high with 10 assists.
- Jillian Venegas earned her second double-double on the season with 16 points and 15 rebounds.
- Rylee Pickett was the final player in double-figures with 12 points.
- Lauren Smith finished with eight points and a career-high nine rebounds.
- Heaven Davis finished with a season-high five points.
