Women's Golf Ends The Dechert Classic In Seventh Place

DECATUR, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team closed out the Millikin Dechert Classic today in seventh place.
Illinois Wesleyan improved off its first-round score by seven strokes to win by 61-strokes at 41-over par 625 (316-309). Individually, Melanie Wolf (Illinois Wesleyan) shot an even-par 73 today to win the tournament at 6-over par 152 (89-73).
Maddi Vandervort led the Griffins with a 24th place finish at 35-over par 181 (91-90). Sammi Charpentier ended the two-day event at 39-over par 185 (88-97) for 27th place.
Grace Harlin scored a 42-over par 188 (94-94) for 31st place, while Hannah Householder closed her day out in 34th at 44-over par 190 (95-95). Casey Lisenbardt went on to finish at 58-over par 204 (103-101).

The Griffins are right back in action tomorrow and Tuesday at the SLIAC Conference Championship hosted by MacMurray at the Links in Jacksonville, Ill.
