A Look at Fontbonne
- The Griffins opened the SLIAC Quarterfinals with a dominant 9-0 win over Blackburn.
- The nine goals are a SLIAC Tournament record and its 70 shots are a single-game record at Fontbonne.
- Caitlyn Smith led with her first career hat-trick. Haley Buscher set a new career-high with two goals,
- Caroline Neal added two goals of her own, while Molly Kovarik added the other.
- On the year, the Griffins are up to 42 goals on the year and surrendered just one.
- Kovarik leads with 10 goals on 46 shots.
- Krystal Kohenskey added two more assists against Blackburn giving her a team-high 13 on the season. The 13 assists tie her for second all-time at Fontbonne in a single-season and is tied for first nationally.
- In net, Mary Beers earned her eighth shutout on the season against Blackburn.
- These two teams met back on March 20th and Fontbonne came away with the 2-0 win.
A Look At Greenville
- The Panthers knocked off No. 4 Spalding on Monday with a 1-0 victory as they got the game winning goal from Molly McDonnell in the 57th minute.
- Grace Gehner got the shutout win and improved to 6-4 overall making five saves.
- On the year, the Panthers have scored 31 goals led by Jen De Leon De Leon with seven. McDonnell's goal against Spalding was her fifth on the year. Kate Arthur added three, while four others have two goals.
- In net, Gehner has made 38 saves.
