GREENVILLE, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women's soccer team notched its 10th straight shutout after knocking off Greenville, 1-0.
It remained a scoreless game up until the 32nd minute when Caroline Neal got the ball and her shot went off Addison Miller's and in for her sixth on the season.
In the second half, the Griffins held an 8-2 shot advantage over the Panthers and held on for the 12-6 victory.
Notes
- Mary Beers collected shutout No. 33 and win No. 44 in career. She's tied for first all-time in the SLIAC in career wins.
- Neal's goal was her 39th in career and has 96 career points. She currently sits one point behind Elizabeth Cornell for fourth place.
- Fontbonne finished with a 12-6 shot advantage.
