Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins finished with a match-high 15 kills in the set, to go along with its .268 hitting percentage. Jordan Harpel and Hannah Gallagher led with four kills each.
Set 2: Second set remained the same story with Fontbonne taking an 13-10 lead on three straight service aces from Emma Pramik. They never relinquished its lead the rest of the way going on for the 25-23 win.
Fontbonne compiled 14 kills and a .286 hitting percentage in the second. Gallagher led with five kills, while Harpel and Kristen Kaempfe totaled three apiece.
Set 3: It was back-and-forth play early, but the Blue Jays took a 13-12 lead and never looked back staying alive to force a fourth set. The Griffins were limited to eight kills and a .042 hitting percentage in the third.
Set 4: The Blue Jays carried its momentum from the third into the fourth having statistically its best set with 14 kills and a .323 hitting percentage in the victory.
Fontbonne got back to 14 kills ending with a .200 hitting percentage. Jadyn Fitzgerald had a strong set with six kills.
Set 5: The Blue Jays capped off the comeback with a 15-10 win in the fifth totaling four kills and a .167 hitting percentage. Fontbonne ended with seven kills and a .143 hitting percentage.
Team Notes
- Fontbonne finished with 58 kills and a .184 hitting percentage.
- Defensively, the team came away with 79 digs and a season-high 17 block assists.
