Women's Volleyball Sweeps Past Spalding On Senior Night

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's volleyball team treated its fans to a sweep over Spalding in its final game of the regular season. Prior to the game, the Griffins honored its six seniors in Amaya Earls, Kelly Herr, Jadyn Fitzgerald, Jessica Molden, Emma Pramik, and Savannah Silva.

Set Notes

Set 1: The Griffins opened with a strong first set offensively with 11 kills and a match-high .345 hitting percentage.

Fitzgerald and Hannah Gallagher led with four kills each. Defensively, the Griffins were active with 17 digs and six block assists led by Jordan Harpel with three.

Set 2: Fontbonne was in control of the second from start-to-finish totaling 11 kills and a .243 hitting percentage. Kelly Herr and Kristen Kaempfe led with three kills each. The duo also added two block assists at the net.

Set 3: Fontbonne went on to pull away in the third with a match-high 13 kills. Fitzgerald led with five of the 13, while the Griffins had 21 digs and six block assists.

Team Notes

• Fontbonne finished with 35 kills and a season-low eight errors.
• Defensively, the Griffins had 16 block assists and eight total blocks overall.
