Women's Volleyball Wins SLIAC Tournament Championship For First Time Since 2005
GREENVILLE, Ill.— For the first time since 2005, the Fontbonne University women’s volleyball team won the SLIAC Tournament Championship and punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament. When and where the Griffins will play next will be announced on Monday at 12 p.m. At the conclusion of the SLIAC Championship, Hannah Gallagher, Emma Pramik and Ella Werner-Click (MVP) were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Match 1
Fontbonne def. Webster, 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-23)
Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins remained in control throughout the first set and pulled away for the 25-20 win. Fontbonne compiled 17 kills and a .333 hitting percentage in the first.
Jadyn Fitzgerald led with five kills, while Kristen Kaempfe and Hannah Gallagher contributed four each.
Set 2: After Fontbonne took a 15-14 lead, the Griffins never looked back outscoring the Gorloks 10-4 for the 25-18 win.
The Griffins had another strong set with 12 kills and a .211 hitting percentage. Gallagher led with three kills. Defensively, the Griffins compiled 23 digs with Emma Pramik and Kiya Kolb having three each.
Set 3: The Gorloks held a 14-7 lead, but Fontbonne chipped away at the deficit and eventually took a 20-18 lead on consecutive kills from Jordan Harpel. Fontbonne fended off Webster the rest of the way for the 25-23 win.

- Fontbonne totaled 42 kills and a .170 hitting percentage in the win.
- Defensively, the Griffins had 68 digs and 10 block assists.

Fontbonne def. Westminster, 3-1 (25-20, 12-25, 25-23, 25-19)
Set Notes
Set 1: The Griffins never relinquished its lead in the first set going on for the 25-20 win. Fontbonne had 11 kills and a .150 hitting percentage.
Defensively, the Griffins had 18 digs and seven block assists led by Kaempfe with three. Kaempfe and Gallagher tied with three kills each.
Set 2: The Blue Jays jumped out to an early lead in the second and never looked back going on for the win. Fontbonne had its worst offensive line on the night with seven kills and 14 errors for a negative -.179 hitting percentage.
Set 3: Fontbonne trailed 17-11 in the third, but never gave up eventually ting it up at 19-19 on a double block from Jackie Drury and Kaempfe. The Griffins went on to take a 21-20 lead and made the comeback complete winning, 25-23.
Fontbonne bounced back offensively with 11 kills and a .189 hitting percentage. Kaempfe led with four kills.
Set 4: The Griffins carried that momentum over into the fourth jumping out to a commanding 8-1 lead. It was all Fontbonne the rest of the way winning its first SLIAC Championship since 2005, 25-19.
