Cross Country Finishes In Fourth At SLIAC Championship
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Fontbonne University men’s cross country team had its best finish at the SLIAC Championship today since 2011 ending in fourth place.
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Fontbonne University men's cross country team had its best finish at the SLIAC Championship today since 2011 ending in fourth place.
Greenville won its seventh straight SLIAC Championship with all seven runners finishing inside the top-12. Webster ended in second with 70 points, while Principia rounded out in third totaling 93 points.
Individually, Giannai Estrada (Greenville) won the 8k with a time of 26:02.0. Hoekel finished with a time of 30:10.3 for 16th place.
Dominic Mueller followed in 18th place crossing the line at 30:30.5. Christopher Strange ended with a time of 31:38.6 for 21st, while KeYonn Hall-Baker hit a personal record time of 32:55.2 for 28th.
Bradley Forrest was right behind him in 29th at 32:57.5. Ayden Illingworth closed out his run timing out at 35:19.1.
