ST. LOUIS, Mo.—After being away for the first two months of the season, the Fontbonne University men’s volleyball team will begin a six-game home stretch starting on Friday night against Mount Union. On Sunday, the Griffins take on Olivet.

 A Look At The Griffins

  • Fontbonne will hit the court for the first time since Feb. 22nd when they fell in a five-set thriller against Adrian.
  • On the year, they're up to 10.24 kills per set and own a .151 hitting percentage.
  • Cameron Graves, who's coming off a career-high 22 kills against Adrian, leads with 153 overall and a .176 hitting percentage.
  • Braden Woolsey has 97 kills thus far and a team-high .277 hitting percentage.
  • Setter Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell averages 8.98 assists per set.
  • Defensively, the Griffins average 10.33 digs per set and they're led by Zach Rothstein with 130 on the season.

A Look At The Mount Union Purple Raiders

  • The Purple Raiders saw its four-game win streak get snapped on Tuesday after falling in five sets to Geneva (Pa.).
  • Through 12 games, the Purple Raiders average 11.45 kills per set on a .223 hitting percentage.
  • Justin Sibbel leads overall with 163 kills and a .264 hitting percentage.
  • Mark Bruns will be another player to look out for with his 120 kills, .215 hitting percentage, and 25 blocks.
  • Setter Jeremy Leyden dishes out 9.62 assists per set.
  • Defensively, the team comes away with 10.47 digs per set. Steven Grenier leads the group with 147 (3.13 digs per set).

A Look At The Olivet College Comets

  • The Comets are currently on a seven-game slide after falling to Indiana Tech on Wednesday in straight sets.
  • The team will play Indiana Tech once more tonight followed by Mount St. Joseph on Friday.
  • Through 12 games so far, the Comets total 10.79 kills per set and a .130 hitting percentage.
  • Aaron Smith leads with 110 kills. Dan Hayes has 68 kills and a team-high .266 hitting percentage.
  • Setter Aaron Giorgi hands out 8.53 assists per set.
  • Defensively, they total 10.37 digs per set and are led by Girogi's 87.
