Rachel Hanson Palko joins the Fontbonne Hall of Fame after a remarkable career as a runner. Rachel was the 2007 SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, as well as the 2007 SLIAC Runner of the Year. Palko capped off her extraordinary 2007 season by winning the SLIAC individual Championship.  

She achieved First Team All-SLIAC all four years was also named to the 2010 All-Sportsmanship Team. Palko helped the Fontbonne Cross Country team place second in three consecutive seasons, spanning from 2007-2009, and a fourth-place finish for the team in 2010.  

Individually, Palko placed top-15 four times in the 6k race, finishing as high as third at Hillsboro in 2010. She also placed top-15 seven times in the 5k race, while also finishing second at Principia in 2009. While running for Fontbonne, Palko won SLIAC Athlete of the Week six times.
