Baseball in the giving mood before the holidays

St. Louis, Mo. - The Fontbonne University baseball team helped get community residents ready for the holiday season by working at the Shining Light Tree Lot over the weekend.

Thirty-six Griffins unloaded the Christmas trees from the hauler and put them on display, something they have been doing annually for over five years now.

Proceeds from the sales at the tree lot benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. The tree lot is located at McCarthy Building Companies in Rock Hill.
